Anyone have simple crock pot soup recipes?????

This is a super easy, super tasty beef stew. I like mine with LOTS of pepper.. MM!





2 pounds chuck roast


1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix


1 (.75 ounce) packet dry brown gravy mix


1 1/2 cups apple juice





Slow Cooker instructions: Place stew beef, onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, and apple juice into a slow cooker, and cook on Low for 5 to 8 hours.


Oven instructions: Mix together the apple juice, onion soup mix, and brown gravy mix in a casserole dish. Add stew beef, and cook covered for 2 1/2 to 3 hours in a 325 degree oven.( 165 degrees C)Anyone have simple crock pot soup recipes?????

put boneless, skinless chicken breast in crock pot. Add mixed veggies and chicken broth. Add some salt, pepper, garllic powder and onion powder. Cook for about 4 to 6 hrs on low. Add some egg noodles and turn to hi. Cook until done. Enjoy
There are some slow cooker recipes on this site. The Italian roast is a great one. I'll bet you are smart enough to adjust it for soup.
Zesty Minestrone





Prep Time: 15 min


Total Time: 6 hr 30 min


Makes: 8 servings, about 1 cup each





1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing


1 cup chopped onions (about 1 medium)


1/2 cup chopped celery (about 1 stalk)


1/2 cup chopped carrots (about 1 medium)


1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained


1 can (19 oz.) red kidney beans, drained, rinsed


2 cans (14 oz. each) vegetable broth


2 cups water


1 tsp. Italian seasoning


1-1/2 cups small shell macaroni, uncooked


1/2 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese





HEAT dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions, celery and carrots; cook 2 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Spoon into slow cooker. Add tomatoes, beans, broth, water and Italian seasoning; stir. Cover with lid.


COOK on LOW for 6 hours (or on HIGH for 3 hours).


STIR in macaroni; cook 10 to 15 min. or until macaroni is tender. Sprinkle with cheese just before serving.

Serve with crusty bread and a tossed garden salad.





Substitute


Substitute white beans or chickpeas (garbanzo beans) for the kidney beans.
Slow-cook Chicken %26amp; Mushroom Stew


1 can cream of mushroom %26amp; roasted garlic soup


5-6 fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breasts


Salt and pepper to taste


1 package (8 oz.) med. white mushrooms


1 cup baby carrots


2 celery ribs, cut into 1 1/2 inch lengths





In slow cooker, stir together soup and 1/2 can of water. Cut chicken into 2-inch chunks. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put chicken into cooker. Add mushrooms, carrots and celery. Stir gently to mix. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until chicken is done.








Posole


2 cups pork roast, cooked and cubed


1 large can hominy, undrained


1 can green chiles, chopped


1 tablespoon chili powder


1 teaspoon salt


1 large onion, diced


1 to 2 cups water


Flour tortillas


Cheese, grated





Put the pork, hominy, green chiles, chili powder, salt, onion and water in a slow cooker and cook 6-8 hours on low. Serve in bowls with lots of grated cheese on top. Pass the flour tortillas.








Crockpot Lentils %26amp; Ham


2 c dried lentils, sorted and rinsed


3 c chopped cooked ham


2 onions, chopped


3 c chopped carrots


2 (10 oz.) cans condensed chicken broth


4 c water





Combine all ingredients in crockpot, mix to combine. Cover crockpot, cook low 7-9 hours.








CREOLE SLOW-COOKER GUMBO


1/2 lb. chicken breast halves without skin, cubed and browned


2 links andouille sausage, sliced


1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined


1 onion, chopped


1 green bell pepper, chopped


1 red bell pepper, chopped


10 cups water


1 cup dry roux mix


2 tbls. Creole seasoning


Cooked white rice





Place chicken, sausage, shrimp, onion, peppers, water, roux


mix and Creole seasoning in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 8


hours. Adjust seasoning with additional Creole seasoning, if needed.


Serve over rice.








No-Peek Beef Stew


2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes


1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup


1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup


1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained


1/2 cup dry red wine





Place beef stew meat, condensed French onion soup, condensed cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms and dry red wine into a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

It is so easy to do anything with a crock pot. My family's favorite is:


1lb stewing beef


1 can of shopped tomato with jalapeno peppers (in the canned food aisle with other tomato products.


1 can green beans


1 white or yellow onion cut up


small red potatoes


small carrots


garlic to taste





1pkg McCormick slow cooker seasoning


cook on high for 4hrs or on low for 8-10 hrs





It makes a nice spicy stew or you can use the canned tomato with garlic or just plain canned tomato. Its all good.


Or they even have frozen bags of soups and stews and all you do is add water and put them in the crock pot! They are excellent as well.
