I am looking for original soup recipes, anyone have any?

MEATBALL SPECIAL





1 POUND LEAN GROUND BEEF


1/2 CUP BREAD CRUMBS


1 EGG


1 CUP CANNED TOMATO SAUCE- DIVIDED (1/4 %26amp; 3/4)


1 TSP SALT


1/8 TSP PEPPER


1/8 TSP GROUND ALLSPICE


1 ONION - CHOPPED


2 TB OIL


3 CUPS WATER


1 PACKAGE ONION SOUP MIX


1 1/2 CUPS CARROTS - SLICED


10 OZ. FROZEN PACKAGE PEAS


1/2 CUP GREEN PEPPER - CHOPPED


3 POTATOES - CUBED





COMBINE IN A BOWL; MEAT, CRUMBS, EGG,


1/4 CUP TOMATO SAUCE, SALT, PEPPER, ALLSPICE AND ONION.


MIX WELL AND FORM INTO 12 BALLS.


IN A SKILLET HEAT OIL AND ADD MEATBALLS. BROWN ON ALL SIDES AND DRAIN.





IN LARGE POT ADD MEATBALLS, WATER, 3/4 CUP TOMATO SAUCE, ONION SOUP MIX, CARROTS, PEAS, GREEN PEPPER, POTATOES. BRING TO A BOIL AND COOK OVER LOW HEAT FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL VEGETABLES ARE TENDER.I am looking for original soup recipes, anyone have any?

I used a crock pot and used this one... my husband is still guessing my recipe!





left over KFC orignal recipe chicken pieces (ie: wing, leg)


1 beef bone or pieces of beef


1 potato cut up, peeled if desired


1 carrot cut up, peeled if desired


1 celery cut up


1/2 onion cut up


1/2 bell pepper cut up


1/4 cup long grain rice





In the crock pot add the ingredients above.


Add 4 cups of water. Do not fill the crock pot to the top because the water level will rise!


Turn on crock pot at 8 am on med. At 5 pm it should be done.


Remove the KFC chicken pieces, remove the meat and put back into pot. Discard bones. Same with the beef. Break down the meat and put back into pot. Mix soup.





Turn off heat and let sit for 10 minutes, serve hot
Lentil Soup with Ham


INGREDIENTS:





* 1 meaty ham bone or 1 large ham hock


* 6 cups water


* 1 1/2 cups dried lentils


* 2 cups sliced carrots, about 3 to 4 medium carrots


* 1 cup chopped celery


* 1 cup chopped onion


* 2 teaspoons salt


* 1 teaspoon sugar


* 1/4 teaspoon pepper


* 1 bay leaf





PREPARATION:


In a stock pot or large kettle, combine ham bone, water, lentils, carrots, celery, onion, salt, sugar, pepper and bay leaf. Cover and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, or until lentils are tender.


Take out ham bone or hock and remove meat.


Chop meat and return to lentil soup. Remove bay leaf. Lentil soup serves 6.





I add a little tomato and a couple of small potatoes.

I personally have one that I enjoy making and I made that one night by accident. Hamburg Vegetable soup, I was supposed to be making veg-beef but when I went for the roast beef it wasn't there,so I added fried up hamburger instead and added more tomatoes and tomatoe juice then I added my spices to taste.

Chicken Noodle Soup





2lbs.cook Chicken (fresh or raw)


2 1/2 cups of water


1cup Celery


3 cup wide noodles


salt


pepper


chicken broth





Boil chicken in water until fully cook ,remove from water set aside this is your broth ,cool chicken and cut in small pieces ,dice celery and place meat ,celery ,pinch of salt and pepper to taste when celery is tender place noodles in broth and bring to a slow boil cook 15 to 20 minutes .6 - 8 cup serving .
